Wren is an engineer who uses her background in hardware, software, and mathematics to design and produce systems that smear the line between the physical and digital world.  She started her career designing an array of sensors ranging from chemical to optical at both early stage startups and the Special Projects Group at Apple.  She next founded a technology R&D team at Airbnb, where she led the development of new products melding classical and machine learning-based computer vision techniques to understand homes.  She is now working on risk prediction and anti-discrimination efforts with the Trust team at Airbnb, finding ways to further safety and belonging on Airbnb.  She has a MS and BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and moonlights as a moderately competitive kiteboarder and foil surfer.
