Workday System Analyst 2
Cara Hairston (she/her) and I’m a System Analyst supporting the Workday application. I identify as mixed black and white, am soon to be married to my Mexican-American partner and am a proud mom of our feisty three old daughter, Lily. I studied sociology and psychology at Gonzaga University where my experiences with and studies of racial discrimination and inequality inflamed my passion for pursuing diversity and equality in almost everything that I do. I’m excited to be participating in this panel because I’m ready to help move work places from talking about diversity, inclusion and belonging to creating environments where DIB is foundational to the culture of the workplace and so ingrained employees are able to bring their best and whole selves to work.
