Xpat, Inc. Founder and CEO
Sharolyn Wynter is the founder and CEO of Xpat, Inc. and creator of The Xpat App. The Xpat App is the first and only app that caters to the unique needs and interests of the global Black expat community. Her platform focuses on enhancing the Black experience abroad through knowledge sharing, community building, and amplifying the voices of Black expats around the globe. Equipped with insights from her own expat journey and travels to over fifty countries she is on a mission to inspire others to live authentic, free and abundant lives through travel and living abroad experiences.
Prior to taking the leap of faith to become a social entrepreneur, Sharolyn worked for 10+ years at Deloitte Consulting in their technology practice and also served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships for Girls LOVE Travel, a community of 1.1 million female travelers. As an advocate for youth empowerment and STEM education, she also serves on the Board of Directors for Raising Expectations youth development program based in Atlanta, GA.
The Detroit native and Spelman alumna currently resides in Lisbon, Portugal where she spends her spare time scrapbooking, exploring, and investing in passion projects.
