Despite the demand for data science professionals, opportunities to break into this growing field are not widely available to those without the right mix of relevant technical skills, academic credentials, and experience.

Join this session to explore some of the emerging pathways into the field of data science, including Northeastern’s new Align Master’s in Data Science- designed to bring more diversity of thought into the emerging discipline. Northeastern will also be unveiling details about a new scholarship program to attract women and historically underrepresented groups into the field in collaboration with community partners like Women in Tech Regatta.

More about this program:

Northeastern University's Khoury College of Computer Sciences is proud to announce the launch of our Align Master's in Data Science program. Modeled after our successful Align Master’s of Computer Science program, and targeted at people without a technical background, we will be offering the Align Data Science program in Fall 2021 at Northeastern - Silicon Valley, and we are enrolling now! Classes start in September.

We are excited to offer a limited number of qualified WIT Regatta participants a dedicated scholarship for admission in Fall 2021. Two semesters of bridge classes prepare students for graduate level courses in data science, while our cohort model allows you to study alongside a group of peers with diverse perspectives. With a strong education in data science, you can find more than a lucrative job-you can put the power of data to work in fields that matter to you.

Northeastern University is pleased to offer WIT Regatta participants a scholarship equivalent to half the cost of tuition for the entirety of the program. There are a limited number of scholarships available and they are first come first served for qualified applicants.
