Thinking about a pivot? Trying to find your place in tech? Not sure how to find your voice or speak your truth when the team doesn't look like you? Join Sheila Oh and Kelsey Kaul for a conversation about Sheila's unconventional journey into tech and later into academia. During this session, Sheila will tell her story overcoming the challenge of changing careers, combatting imposter syndrome, and learning to find her voice. Sheila will share practical tips that helped her succeed in her career in teaching, despite being an introvert.

More than a year into pandemic life, and we're definitely feeling that trauma-induced brain fog. But what if the key to unlocking your creativity and clearing your head was as easy as lacing up your tennies and heading outside? Studies show that walking makes you twice as creative as sitting behind a desk—there are real benefits to your brain (not to mention your body) while your feet are moving.
Today’s port is all about tech mavens, so this session will start with Sheila Oh sharing perspective and experience, which you'll listen to as you walk. (No cheating, even if it’s raining!) You'll then break out into a one-on-one conversation with another participant, giving you the opportunity to network while you walk-and-talk. Ultimately, we want you exploring your neighborhood, your city, your culture, your mindset, your likes and dislikes. Clear that fog and let the sun shine in!
