More than a year into pandemic life, and we're definitely feeling that trauma-induced brain fog. But what if the key to unlocking your creativity and clearing your head was as easy as lacing up your tennies and heading outside? Studies show that walking makes you twice as creative as sitting behind a desk—there are real benefits to your brain (not to mention your body) while your feet are moving.

Today’s port is all about career acumen, so this session will start with an industry leader,Bhavana Bartholf sharing their perspective and experience, which you'll listen to as you walk. (No cheating, even if it’s raining!)
Please join us for this dynamic session where Microsoft USA Chief Transformation Officer Bhavana Bartholf will talk about her personal and professional journey. She’ll cover everything from empowering lessons she learned from her grandfather while growing up as a girl in India – where gender specific roles and expectations typically prevailed. “My grandfather taught me to Simply Imagine what is possible by simply challenging the status quo,” Bhavana says. She also will share in detail what she has learned during the 20 years (and 11 roles) she has served in as a leader at Microsoft. Topics she will explore are her thoughts on why we don’t see more women today in leadership, yet “women deal with change better than everyone else”. Bhavana believes now more than ever, this is our time to be bold and step up, and is here to encourage all of us to Simply Imagine what you would do if you thought you could?

You'll then break out into a one-on-one conversation with another participant, giving you the opportunity to network while you walk-and-talk. Ultimately, we want you exploring your neighborhood, your city, your culture, your mindset, your likes and dislikes. Clear that fog and let the sun shine in!
