During this session, we will discuss leadership opportunities, motivations, career journeys and missed opportunities. Hope and intentions aren’t a plan – but are inspirations to fuel it.
 
Would it surprise you to know, while we have made progress on the attention to Women in Leadership in tech – the impact is still yet to be truly seen. In terms of opportunities for Women in Top Leadership titled roles it hasn’t really changed over the past 5 years. A recent report from IBM Institute for Business Value discusses leadership ranks across 10 industries and 9 Geographic regions – saying that what they found should set off alarm bells. How do you lead with a title, without a title and drive influence to impact.
 
Why do you want to be a leader or pursue a leadership path ? What is motivating and driving you ? Who is on your team – your sponsors, your champions and how are you doing the same for others ? Trust, communication, collaboration, mentorship and allyship all play a crucial part.

You'll then break out into a one-on-one conversation with another participant, giving you the opportunity to network while you walk-and-talk.
