Diverse clinical trial datasets representative of our communities have the power to shape future scientific discoveries and drive innovative new therapeutic approaches for patients with serious disease. Yet, Black, Latinx and people of color make up only a small fraction of clinical trial participants in the U.S. today. How can data and technology intersect with clinical research and patient engagement to improve clinical trial diversity? From applying data to scientific discovery in an equitable way to building inclusive healthcare technology and extending the reach of clinical trials into underserved communities, explore this topic from the perspective of those working in biopharma, data and technology, clinical research and patient advocacy.
