Deborah Campbell
Deborah Campbell and Associates LLC Principal and Lead Strategist
Henderson, Nevada
You can talk with me about Organizational Cultural Competency, DEI and Business Bottom Lines, pivoting and leveraging three different careers before making the move to self employment, and life lessons learned over four decades in the workplace. Nothing has changed, but then everything has changed as a woman, Black Hispanice, single parent, and advocate/caregiver for two parents with end stage dementia.
Here's my bio brief - looking forward to meeting lots of incredible women no matter where you are in your careers - and learning from you!
Principal and Lead Strategist Deborah Campbell launched Deborah Campbell and Associates LLC in 2004, bridging three careers as an award-winning television news journalist, transformative nonprofit executive, and successful business owner.
Deborah's life journey is rich in diversity of places, spaces, and experiences. Born in Panama and raised in Spain and Northern California, she graduated a year early from high school to attend Oregon State University and study journalism. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications, and as a graduate student at California State University, Chico her focus was on creative problem solving and modern instructional strategies.
With more than fifteen years as a television news reporter, anchor and morning show host in California and Nevada, followed by more than a decade of nonprofit leadership roles in Nevada, Deborah credits her life journey as "the best real-world experience for authentic and effective strategy consultation."
Deborah is involved in several community agencies and is a volunteer advisor for several conservation and social service nonprofits.
For balance, Deborah enjoys long walks, desert sunsets, astronomy, jazz, and time with her daughter and close friends.
